CW3 Colburn attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, followed by Advanced Individual Training as a Stinger/Avenger Crewmember at Fort Bliss, Texas. His military education includes the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Warrant Officer Candidate School, Warrant Officer Basic Course, Warrant Officer Advanced Course Phase I (Honor Graduate), and Captains Career Course Advanced Phase II.

CW3 Colburn, Steven “Retired” from United States Army Africa Command (USARAF) / Southeastern Taskforce (SETAF), Vicenza, Italy, as the Regional Interface Control Officer & Air Defense Airspace Management / Command & Control Systems Technician / Integrator. He’s been married for 22 ½ years to Rebecca M. Colburn of Sealy, Texas. They have two sons: Tyler (21) and Logan (18) Colburn.
They are the Pastoral Leadership Team for The Refuge Worship Centers in Vicenza, Italy & Aviano Italy.
Rebecca M Colburn is a 45 year-old former military wife, proud mother of two grown sons, and co-Pastor with her husband at The Refuge Worship Centers in Aviano and Vicenza, Italy. She was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Sealy, Texas from age of 4 years. While attending Blinn College in Brenham, Texas, Rebecca met her husband—Steven. They have been married for almost 22 years. Together, she and her husband homeschooled their sons, Tyler and Logan. Tyler currently resides with them, and Logan attends Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in the Houston area.
Rebecca received an Associates Degree in General Studies at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Rebecca is a licensed, ordained minister with the Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, and serves in the Freedom Outreach International / Ministry to the Military (FOI/MTTM) organization and community. Rebecca loves serving in many areas. In the past, she has served as Church Administrative Assistant, Choir/Worship Team, Sunday School teacher, Youth Leader, Greeter/Usher, Couples Bible Study Facilitator, Special Needs Ministry Founder/Volunteer, Military Ministry Co-Leader, Care Ministries, and so much more. As a former military spouse, Rebecca has received distinguished awards, such as the Molly Pitcher award for spouses—for significant contributions to the Air Defense Artillery community. In 2016, she was awarded Spouse of the Year by the South of the Alps Warrant Officer Association. Rebecca’s greatest passion is sharing the love and grace of God through Jesus Christ with others.
