2-Hour Prayer Special
Dedication to National Day of Prayer
Thursday, May 7th in America
Ms. Sarah Lowe, General of Prayer
We wanted Sarah on this broadcast because she has been in ministry for over 60 years! She has been praying for our nation for so many years and she is being honored on this broadcast. We pull on her wisdom and love on how to bring America back to its knees. She humbly answers questions on how to pray…how to reach the throneroom, etc. She will bless your life!
One of Sarah’s theme songs is “I was born to serve the Lord.” Raised in a pastor’s home, she has been “in church” since she was 3 days old. Needless to say, church was a priority in that family’s life. When she was only 3 years old, she knelt in a corner of the altar and wept her heart out for her sins. Even at such a young age, she knew she needed Jesus as her personal savior. Her relationship with Jesus is not only the most important relationship in her life but also the governing rule by which everything she says and does is measured.
She has been married to Rick for 36 years. They have 4 grown children, 3 sons in law and 3 precious granddaughters. First Grandson on the way!
Because her father was a church planter and her husband a pharmaceutical representative, Sarah is a “potted plant” who has learned to bloom where she’s planted. She has lived in 27 cities and 8 states. She has truly learned to be content in whatsoever state she finds herself. When asked, “was your Dad in the service”, she says “yes, the service of the Lord.”
In 1989, as prayer chairman for a women’s organization, she was introduced to National Day of Prayer and has coordinated city events, county events and state events. She subscribes to the “it’s not about a day, it’s about a discipline” theory calling the ministry National Daily Prayer. When she moved from Cary, NC to Chicago, IL a pastor told her she was going to be a “Johnny Appleseed” for the prayer movement and to this day, she continues to work in the NDP ministry as the South Central National Area Leader. She describes herself as “a cheerleader” for the coordinators and her desire is to be a blessing and encouragement to all.
In 2011, the Lowe family was busy Preparing the Bride as their youngest daughter got married in the fall. They helped remodel a house for the young couple. There are so many messages the Lord has given them as they see Redemption, Reconciliation and Revival in action! Truly Our Father confirms His Lavish Love every day!
The 2012 theme for National Day of Prayer, One Nation Under God with the theme verse from Psalm 33:12, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” opened up more doors for us to declare the message of unity in the Body of Christ and Dependence upon Our Sovereign King of Kings and Lord of Lords! We continue to raise our voices and sound the alarm as we prepare for the Soon Coming King!
I am now studying I KIngs 8 to prepare for the 2015 NDP season… LORD HEAR OUR CRY….. the theme verse is I KINGS V 28 but there is so much rich teaching in HIs Word as we seek to release voices crying out in purity and holiness!
Sarah’s involvement with NDP continues because she has a passion for the Lord and a passion for prayer. Her mandate from the Lord is to serve the Body of Christ from the NDP Platform; encourage National Daily Prayer; to recruit, equip, activate and mobilize for the end time Prayer Army that is being set in place to prepare the Bride for the soon return of our King.
