About Sue Cline
President & Founder
It was at a young age that Sue felt the call and desire to help people and to see their lives changed for the better. It was 1994 before she actually gave her life to God and realized that the call and desire was from Him. Sue spent the next six years studying the Word and learning how to hear God’s voice. She helped counsel people in the church and taught the young adults Sunday school class for about 9 years.
In 2003, God revealed to her the name of the home she would open one day for hurting women. She went through several years of seeing these women come out of jail and come to church but have no real place to go. Most ended up back in the mess from which they had come and eventually wound up back in jail again.
In 2005, God opened a door for Sue and her husband Scott to step into the jail ministry which led to the first girl moving into their home in 2007. Sue’s dream had begun but from 2007 to 2010 God had Sue in training. He was teaching her to wait on His perfect timing. He was also showing her how to properly run the home once He provided it.
In 2010, with the help of Joyce Meyer Ministries, Hope Center for Women was birthed as a 501c3 corporation and the dream became a reality. Sue has a vision of opening more homes in the future to help as many women as she can. She longs to see these women set free from the bondage that has held them back and see their lives overflowing with joy, peace and hope as they love and serve an awesome and living God that loves them unconditionally.
